Crushed.

My husband and I have been ttc for a couple of months.

Each month I tell myself I'm not gonna cry if I get a bfn; however I always end up balling my eyes out.

I've had a horrible cold for the past couple of days which now turned into a full blown fever.

I dragged myself to the doctors. He said it was a virus and I needed to rest and take antibiotics.

Just before I took the prescription from him I told him I might be pregnant.

He looked at me confused.

..."are you pregnant, or not" he said.

I explained to him that I was trying and I wasn't expecting my period till next week May 15th.

He said okay well do a test although it might be too early to test.

He came back, stared at the screen for a couple of minutes and said "give me a minute and walked out.

He came back in and said "Well... the tests are positive..... for a urine infection but negative for pregnancy..."

Just hearing "positive" made my heart skip a beat. But that only lasted a split second.

Got my period a week earlier.

My husbands best friends wife just had a baby and I don't wanna go see her because I know I'm gonna start balling my eyes out.

I can't stop crying...... fuck 😢
