Might have strep

Has anyone had strep while pregnant? My husband and I got sick at the same time and we're sick (sore throats, stuffy noses, coughing common cold stuff) for about 5-6 days when he started feeling better and my daughter then had a fever all day but was better the next. Now on the 8th day I lost my voice and can barely whisper. It hurts to swallow, and breath certain ways. I've never had strep so I don't know what sits like. I've never lost my voice from a cold tho. I just wanted to know if it sounds like strep. I'm making a Dr appointment already but want to see if there's anything I can do for now till the appointment
