He's Sick on My First Mother's Day

My hubby is sick and its my first mothers day. Im sorry hes sick obviously, but im sad too. Im taking care if him today with his meds, soup, keeping him warm (he's having weird chills). I cant help but feel disappointed.

Anyway, hubby asks if im mad that he is sick. I say of course not. I cant fault people for being sick, its not like something like that can be controlled. I go on to say that this wasnt how i expected to spend my first mother's day. I didnt intend to start something with the comment, i was just speaking my feelings. Well, now husband says im being rude and passive-aggressive. I feel like that came out of left field. What gives?
