Advice, help please and thank you for your time

My husband and I have been ttc for over a year now and still nothing. This month I thought for sure was our month. My boobs had hurting and were swollen, so tender couldn't even take my bra off. I then started my period almost 2 weeks early, than almost a week after ovulation I started my period it was lighter than usual. Does anyone know why it would have started so early??
