Boyfriends balls?

My boyfriend recently noticed his ball sac has gotten looser , wrinkley and harder/dryer at the top (closer to his penis). He is really worried because this is the first time he's noticed this happen to his body. Does anyone have ideas of what who's might be? I told him to not worry because the weather here is beginning to get warmer and his balls might just be dropping lower.
