Waxing the cooch?!?

Okay, I have always shaved my vag but it always grows back so fast and sometimes I can't get every little spot. I've been thinking about waxing but the thought of it being painful scares me. Does anybody wax, would you do it again? Any suggestions on type of wax and I should go to a pro? Also the BIG question, do I trim the hair short or leave the bush before the wax? Thx!
