Swimming pool incident

So, it's finally been warm enough to swim outside. I brought my 10.5 month old daughter to a families outdoor pool. Put her toes in the water and she cries cause it was a little older than anticipated. I've tried to bath her twice since this pool incident and she screams and cries. I'm thinking I am going to have to either bath with her or shower with her to get use to it again ? Any other suggestions!?
