I thought I wasn't supposed to get my period for another week and it came early. How do you know the difference between AF and implantation? Does implantation usually coincide with cramps?

Yes you have cramps with implantation. Also, implantation is very very light blood. Like a couple drops if that and then it stops.

AF is heavier, shorter, and usually more red. On its actual due date take a FRER test if there is any question in your mind about being pregnant
