How do you feel about a man paying for everything?

I'm not talking your bills, but he buys you gifts and pays for all the dates, and sometimes only spends money on you not himself. I'm a traditional girl so I think it's fine to pay for all the dates, but I get really uncomfortable if I let him spend money on only me, and more awkward when he gets more money out in front of me (like ATM).

I honestly love it.... But I do feel guilty sometimes so I usually pay for a couple dates here and there

That's how my relationship was and still is with my husband. When we first got together (8 years ago) he paid for absolutely everything! I would just say I liked something and he would buy it! Yes it made me uncomfortable but that's how he was raised. But he probably spoils me a little more lol. When we dated he paid for my gas all the time and everything else. So I would always go and buy him surprises just as a thank you and that I do appreciate things! He hated it but he would accept it! Now that we are married with a 2 year old and a baby on the way.. We own a business together and take our parts in the relationship! It worked for us!

I'm in the same boat as you. I sometimes feel though that I should pick up on some of our tabs everyone in awhile. I just don't want him feeling like I expect him to pay for everything all the time, ya know? Cause I'm not that type of girl, I like to spoil too!

My boyfriend and Iike making everything fair! We have a rule that if you came up with the idea that costs money that you're agreeing to pay for it as well. So if I suggest a movie I'm also implying that I'll pay.
