Is checking your own crevix hard?

I'm a little confused on how to do this! I know I'm sorry I feel so dumb when it comes to some of this. I'm sorry in advanced. How do you check it yourself?

I do it after I pee. Clean up and then spread my legs open wide and sit far back in the toilet spread the vaginal lips with my fingers and use just my middle finger. For me at least it doesn't go straight up it's almost straight back and is pretty tight around your finger. If you feel the sides and then keep going till you feel something different that's when you've found the cervix It can be soft or hard but if you move your finger around in it you should feel a little bump kinda if it's closed or a little hole of its open. Don't try to push your finger in just feel around the outside. Depending on where you are in your cycle depends on how high up there it is too some days I can barely feel it sometimes it's like half a finger and it's there.

It's so confusing! I've read the descriptions on here but sometimes it doesn't feel like any of them. I've had my husband do it but he doesn't know what he's supposed to be feeling for either do it didn't really work. You're not alone!

I tried multiple times last month. Even had my husband try. I gave up though. I had no idea what i was feeling for. But i googled pictures and it semi helped.

Wash your hands and either squat, sit on the loo or stand with 1 leg up on loo seat and insert your middle finger up your vag as far as you can and you should feel it the further you can insert your finger the higher it is and should be hard like the tip of your nose' medium like your chin or soft lile pursed lips if its open you will feel a dent if its closed its more like a line.
