anyone filing for unemployment and disability?

I live in NJ and I am stopping work in two weeks. I'll be 29w4d on my "last day". I've had really bad plantar fascilitis while working and my feet get so swollen and painful I can barely do a 5 hour shift anymore. (I used to work 9 hour shifts but asked to be cut back a month ago). I also only work one day a week I am in school full time 5 days a week and will continue that until my 36th week. my store manager told me to file for both unemployment and disability. I am trying to read up on how to apply for them. some places it says you can't get unemployment but some say u can. does anyone know the process for this? and should I just apply anyway to see if I get accepted?? I know the disability I will get 100% but unsure of the unemployment.

Ladies in NJ - be sure to also see if you qualify for FMLA. You may be eligible to 6 weeks partial pay (which you can get in addition to 6 weeks partial pay for temporary disability).

I'm also from NJanf familiar with the work laws. You can't file for both. You can only file for unemployment If you are laid off. Speak to your manager and ask her if she is going to tell the unemployment office that you were let go and not that you quite or fired. If that's the case then you can collect both disability and unemployment but not at the same time.

If you're the one that asked to be cut then you won't get underemployment. And unemployment is if they fired you or laid you off.

You only get disability.  I don't understand why some women feel entitled to both.  U stop working because you're pregnant you don't get money for that.  And I hear women say they are pregnant not disabled all the time why is pregnancy considered a disability now?  I guess I am new to this whole process as its not something I'd ever even consider filing for.

Unemployment is only given to you if you were terminated at no fault of your own. You have to turn in termination papers and they will check with the HR department of your work to make sure you were terminated and it wasn't your fault. Meaning that when you were terminated, you were fully capable of doing your job, you didn't have any punctuality issues, no write-ups, etc.
