My boss wants me to put my 2 weeks in

So since im going on maternity leave soon my boss wants me to put my 2 weeks in instead of going on leave..he said he cant hire or put any one in my position while im gone..i worked there for 4 yrs for me just to give up my pay like that and my position..someone was already training for it bcuz i been saying im gonna move counties which hasnt happened yet since the apartment we want is not available yet..i feel like when i tell him im not gnna put my leave in he will be upset! He said he would hire me when i was ready to come back but obviously not at my postion or pay..what do u ladies think of this!??
