Horrible pains!

So I'm so excited to go into a natural labor last night I went bowling came home and was seriously in the worst pain I ever experienced it felt like a Charlie horse in my stomach I never got to experience contractions so I'm so confused on how they really feel. I thought it was time but now today I feel ok just sore. What are real contractions like? I have 11 days left and I'm ready to carry to term my daughter I could not so I'm just really happy but also very scared.
