Law advice

Anybody here a lawyer? Or have any experience with the law. Here's the story my friend bought a new car it's 3 days now that she bought the car. She has realized that the payments are to high and she can't afford the car anymore. She went back to the dealer and they told her she cannot return the car because of the new California law which doesn't allow a cooling off period for new cars. So now she stuck with a car that she can't afford it. Is there anything she can do?
