What's my purpose?

I've understood for a while now that we as Christians our purpose is to witness to others and try to help lead them to Christ and eternal salvation. We each have different gifts and can reach different people through our gifts. I'm just so confused as to what my purpose is in life????? I'm good at homemaking, crafts and child care and not much else. I can't make a living off of those things. I'm trying to start child care at my home which I feel I'm being lead by God to do. I've quit my old job, changed my whole downstairs to accommodate children, I've been advertising,going to classes and i have not one child to care for. I just don't understand the few people who have talked to me set up interviews and then cancel them. What am I not doing or understanding? I feel lost like I should be further in my life and I'm just stuck! I'm engaged to an awesome man have a nice home we are good old country people. I just don't understand? What do you think?
