Need some serious advice!

I have PCOS and dont produce enough progesterone. I'm 90% below average production for a normal ovulating female. I also don't ovulate on my own. I took clomid this cycle and my midwife told me NOT to take progesterone after I ovulate. Am I wrong or does that sound weird? Like, if I do implant, I could potentially lose the baby due to low progesterone. I'm taking it anyway because I just feel my intuition telling me to. Lol any advise?
