Need some female advice...

So lately my boyfriend and I haven't been able to have sex as often as we used To have sex at least 5 times a week with no issues, but lately it has hurt when he puts it in (like swollen up). He says that it's no big deal, but it's starting to get irritating since he has me ready then we face that issue. I'm on the pill for about a month and have been taking it regularly. What is going on??? 😓😓😓😓
