Do you get tested for STDs...

At the start of every new sexual relationship? How do you guys normally do it? I'm dating  a guy who I may engage in sexual activity with down the line and I'm wondering if it's weird to ask for both of us to get tested for STDs before doing it. Idk if that's what people do or not nowadays

From when I was 17 and on I would NEVER sleep with a guy until he got checked and had proof or we went together.

I've never had an sti and even though I'm married I still get a full panel once a year.

I get screenings every year with my yearly even after all these years.

I had a guy ask me once to get tested with him.. had mixed feelings about it. I thought it was weird, kind of insulting, but responsible.. made me feel better about it..

I get tested EVERY time, and require them to do the same, then we swap results. I'm terrified of STDs/STIs, never had one, and never will. No one is worth jeopardizing MY health for!
