Yeast infection??

Okay so my boyfriend had a baseball game one day and after we went out to eat. Before eating things got a little dirty in his car and so he fingered me. But the next day my vagina started burning and it really hurt to pee. And I realized he didn't wash his hands after the game! So I looked up symptoms for a uti and a yeast infection and I'm pretty sure I had a yeast infection. So I couldn't tell my mom but I drank a lot of water and took good care of it haha. It's gone now but I'm worried about any long term issues that I'm not aware of.
