How often does your doctor check your tear???

Question

I'm 10 days pp and still in a lot of pain. But figure it's normal since I have a very nasty third degree tear and also tore up.

My doctor always said he wants to see me 2 weeks after delivery but now my friend said her midwife checks her every 2 days to make sure she's healing right.

How often and when did those of you with tears get checked? I'm scared that I waited now and might have problems long terms bc it might not be healing right.. I don't want to call my doctor though bc maybe it's out of the norm her midwife checks her so often so hoping someone can give me some feedback

I had a severe labia tear and a complete episiotomy. I caught the flu when I got home from the hospital and busted some stitches coughing and puking, so I had some restitching done at 1 week PP. I had them checked at 2 weeks and 6 weeks PP.  Every 2 days seems excessive.

2nd degree tare and going to be seen in 6 weeks. First 7 days were the worst, then over night fealt a ton better! Have you looked at them with a mirror? When I finally got the courage up to look at mine, they had already dissolved!
