I tried to go natural with my first child but couldn't go past 1 until I got the epidural it was very late my contractions were intense so it was hard to hold still the girl missed & my man counted 15 poke holes in my back the next morn she came in and apologized she said she didn't know I was trying to go natural & thought I was just being dramatic so needless to say when I went in to have my son I said ok I'd like my epidural now & they said maam you need to take your clothes off first haha

See, every birth is different. The way I went into it was like this: I'm gonna see what I need. If it hurts too bad for me, I'll get an epidural. I was induced, so my contractions got really intense really fast, and I wasn't about that. I'm sure I could've done it, but I didn't want to.

It's a pain that's really beyond knowing until you've gone through it. You won't know how bad it'll be beforehand... But it does hurt. But it also is there to let you know what's going on.

I got mine but by the time I got the epidural it was already way to late for the med to even kick in I had to push like 3 min later so I felt everything

Assuming you get the epidural at the right time durin labor, you shouldn't feel pain

The epidural hurts like hell.never again. Plus it wore off during my last two pushes..

I felt nothing with the epidural!  Only pressure.
