Moving to a new state.
So next month I will be getting money from a car accident settlement, around $70,000. I will have $25,000 left once I buy things like a car, laptop, etc. my SO and I want to move out of state to start over together. He will have about $20,000 also. I am 19, and have been to college but dropped out and didn't finish any courses. I don't really know how this would work. Do I have to be a citizen of that state to attend? Also, we won't have any jobs lined up, if we wanted to rent a privately owned apartment or home without being employed would we be able to pay a year in advance to be accepted? I'm really clueless to be honest and feel very nervous. We would both find part time jobs and go to school full time. Does this sound like a safe option or should I just stay where I am?
