How to successfully induce labor naturally?

Question

Any old wives tales or ways to naturally induce labor that have worked for you? How many weeks along were you? I just don't want to go past my due date and I really want to meet my little guy!

My doctor told us to have sex because there's something in sperm that helps.  So the day before my daughter came we did and I also did a bunch of bouncing (on a therapeutic ball and the bed) and walking.  It worked for me! I was 39.3 and I wanted her to come 11.11.11 and she did!  She was due 11.15! Lol

Walking. I walk everywhere. While pregnant with my son due Nov/ 27/14, i went in for my dr visit. Nov 17th. Dr says baby isnt ready yet and he will schedule a sweep fot next week on due date. So i go out for brunch. The go to about 3 or 4 differnt shops just looking at thing wasting time. Got home at 2 and cleaned my place. Then 3:20pm lost my pkug and went into labor. At 3 am i was in active labor and my son was born 8:55am on the 18th.  I swear that walking helped him move down more so that he was ready.

Unless that baby is ready to come nothing works. I have tried everything and I'm now in hospital being induced, 10 days over due. And still no sign of her moving out. I hope your baby isn't as lazy as mine, best of luck
