Hysterosalpingogram

I went in today for my blood tests for LH and FSH to start the process of my HSG procedure. I've heard from a few people that if they didn't find anything wrong the flushing of the uterus/fallopian rubes helped them to get pregnant anyway. Anyone had this procedure done and what happened?

I have a 4 year old son and my second pregnancy found a blighted ovum at 12 weeks (Sept 2014). Had a D&C and my periods have been super heavy ever since. Now I can't seem to get pregnant and both of those were basically one shot and boom! Pregnant!
