I am small and he is large... I hurt my husband !

Lately while ttc , since we've been at it a LOT more than usual, I have been hurting my husband . He either gets very sore or he has tearing around the head of his penis ( no he is not circumcised )  I don't know what to do to help out with this problem ! I'm just a small gal and I'm very tight . We have to have a lot of foreplay which is fine with me ! And we need the aid of lube so it's easier to get in .  But I would love any advice from other wives experiencing the same issues .
