It seems to me they give you about a 3 to 5 day window in the beginning for possibly sperm being able to live within you and 1 to 2 days after you ovulate for possible double egg drop (which Is rare) and the fact the egg can live up to 24 hours. So with that being said and this app only being an estimate of you fertile days and tour ovulation day, that gives you your fertile period of 7  or 8 days, however long it is

When u are talking about opks, it is a little different. Some women will always have an lh surge. Mine has been like that for 3 days as well. It may be, but women who have experience will tell you, not necessarily.

This is my first month using them as well and everyone has shown a line, so just for this first month IIA going to test 2 to 3 times this month and will probably test once after my temps have confirmed ovulation just to see what the test reads.
