It Was All Good Just A Week Ago

Granted I've never been in labor before but if my story isn't an experience for the books..
On March 30th at 9:30am, one day after my due date, I head into the Dr. for my bi-weekly NST. It appeared to me that pregnancy was fed up with me just as much as I was fed up with it because everything started going wrong. The Dr. took my blood pressure and it was strangely high considering I've had a perfect pregnancy all 40 weeks. He tells me take some deep breaths, 2 mins later takes the blood pressure, it's even higher. We move on to the sonogram, Dr. then tells me my fluid is really low. It wasn't low 2days ago( I had measured 11 whatever metric unit)  THEN he tells me I have a grade 3 placenta 😳 wtf!! Terms I've even heard before and my blood pressure was still reading high. At that point I was admitted & the process of induction began. THEE WORST PAIN EVER! Mostly because there was no progression AT ALL! I entered the hospital at a "finger tip" dilated, 24hrs later STILL A FINGER TIP DILATED. & we tried everything; walking, squatting, bouncing on a ball, several attempts of that pill thing they stick up ur coot and nothing but the most intense contractions ever!!
March 31st 12:30pm, I'm dubbed mild pre-eclampsia and major concerns now shifts to baby. With the level a million contractions I was getting, once one would pass the baby's heart rate would dip for a bit then steady itself out. They kept an eye on that particularly until 3:30-4pm and finally tell me I've had a failed induction since I was still only a finger tip dilated. They start telling me the horrors in trying to wait for the body to dilate on it's own blah blah blah. At that point I was so over it and I opt for a c-section which was the smartest thing to do. I'm prepped for it and at 5:45pm my beautiful & healthy baby boy was pulled from my now smiley face scar.
For the record, the aftermath of a c-section sucks major balls (I literally thought I was never gonna walk standing straight up again.) Thank God for the drugs they were shooting me up with but more thanks for my Prince Charming son whose now approaching his 2 month mark.
Excuse that white ish on the corners of my mouth; my lips were so dry & I hadn't eaten in like forever!!
