Gasping for air

I know newborns do weird things that are completely normal and part of development but my daughter is 6 weeks and randomly gasp for air. Almost like she's quietly choking on spit but doesn't cough or anything. She very rarely spits up and if she does, it's just a little. She does it all the time and it still freaks me out. Just wondering if anyone's LO's do this? Doc didn't seem concerned at the last appt😞
