How long? (Maybe a little tmi)

How long did it take for a positive after missed period. I'm only 3 days late but had a bfn this morning. I've been constipated for the last 24 hours which isn't normal for me. Only had a few mild cramps, and some nausea. Also a light headache a couple days last week. Can anyone relate? I'd love to hear about it!
