HSG EXPERIENCES?

im booked in for a hsg 7th june i'm very nervous as i know the procedure as i have researched about what im going to be facing but would love to hear your experiences and what to expect physically/emotionally if its bad news and options you werr offered with the good or the bad *baby dust to all*

Question for you ladies who had your HSG test , did the doctor tell you right then and there if everything looked okay? I had mine done today and the radiologist came in did the test and left no comments from him, the nurse said I would get my results sent to my OB. It concerns me that I didn't get a "everything looks good". Did you all get results right away?

My OB/GYN did my procedure one year ago and it was like a bad cramp the whole time but really, it's nothing you can't handle. I got to watch the whole time during the procedure and he was talking to me every step of the way telling me exactly what everything meant (I'm very thourough). He showed me everything he was found but in the end, he thought he had done what was needed to help me get pregnant, and one and a half years later were still counting on the baby dust 😊  I've never had a period in my life though, besides when I was on metformin and clomid so things are a little different for me. I'm really wishing you the best of luck honey and truly hope this gives you the best outcome possible. TONS of baby dust your way sugar. 😘❤️

Honestly, mine felt like a regular exam... I didn't feel anything and it was cool to watch on the monitor. I have heard stories of it being painful but I didn't have that issue. Hope your goes as smoothly as mine 😀

I had mine last month, I was nervous too because I didn't know what to expect. But it wasn't too bad, I do recommend taking some pain meds 30 minutes before. It is painful, at least for me it was, it's just an uncomfortable feeling of pressure. It goes by quick which I was glad. And after you might be in pain for a while but nothing to bad. For me I got good results, I had no blockages and everything was clear. And right after the procedure I ended up getting pregnant! Currently 4weeks5days. So try not to worry to much, good luck and baby dust!!
