When do you tell family?

When is the best time to tell your parents and parents in law that you're pregnant? When we got pregnant last year, we told our families at 7 weeks and I miscarried 4 days after we told everyone. My husbands parents just told me how angry they were that we told them so soon because I took away their joy when I miscarried. When I find out I'm pregnant, when is the best time to tell? Their reaction makes me want to wait until 15 weeks but I know they would be mad if I told them that far along. There's no winning.
