Weepy and anxious....anyone else?

I'm 4 days PP after C section, so anxious and weepy I am bummed I'm feeling this way

It gets better! I'm 16 days pp and finally feeling better and not having the urge to cry over everything. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes! The first few days home from the hospital were the hardest. I cried randomly and felt so sad and anxious. I've been home a week tomorrow and things are starting to get better. My husband goes back to work tomorrow though and he has been amazing so I've been emotional and nervous about that. I'm also recovering from a section after a really long and stressful labor so I think my body is just out of all sorts. You aren't alone! Everyone I talk to has all said they've been through it and to hang in there!

To all you new mums its is very normal to feel anxious and sad most of it is hormone related with your levels coming down back to normal 
Secondly yes its called baby blues or ppd it can last anywhere from two weeks to a yr even longer if you are still experiencing ppd and uou are concerned about your mental health it is important for you and baby to seek out a psychologist to help you through these feelings

Because it is still warly days both you and bub are reyinh to figure each other out to get into a routine of some sort if your feelings anxious yiur bub will feel anxious if you are relaxed bub will feel relaxed do thinhs the way you want to do sleep when bub sleeps if you can dont worry about house work focus on bub and yourself take time out for your self like getting your nails or hair done without bubs if you can have someone look after bub for an hour

3rdly congratulations to all you new mums and mums of 2nd and 3rd etc mums we are all stromg resilient women with the power and knowledge to do what is best

It's called baby blues. You have a ton of hormoans surging through sending you into a whirlwind of emotions. It's all very very normal and will pass in time.

I found going for a short walk and if possible a quick nap helps.

I have my moments, and when I do either my husband comforts me or I just go hold my baby to my chest and breathe. Both options calm me down though the baby really helped stabilize my emotions especially the first week!! Just holding him close to me relaxed me and took away my anxiety instant!

Yes, I want to cry over lots of things. I'm especially emotional & anxious because we just had our son on the 24th and my husband leaves for the correctional academy on the 7th. So I must handle our newborn & our two girls (3 & 6) alone 5 days out of the week since he will only be home Sat and part of Sunday. ):

It gets better! I had severe anxiety the first week or so but it's definitely gotten better. It's a lot of change to go through so quickly!

Ya I agree with others about Baby blues.  I had it after my first and this one too. It lasted about two weeks with my first. I had it so bad with her I couldn't keep it together enough to go to the store. With my son it hasn't been as bad but I'm definately crying easily. I didn't expect it with my first but I was prepared this time
