My SO makes jokes all the time that are hurtful to me.. should I?

if he makes a joke about you to make other people laugh, but it's kind of offensive, what should I do?

If he loves you he'll understand if he doesn't then move on.
I've dated plenty of guys like that and it's not worth it until you find someone who has the same humor as you.

My bf use to do that. It was jokes about being a soulless redhead...it was funny at first, but then his brothers started to get in on it and they started taking it to far but I'd sit there and laugh so I wouldn't look like a big baby. His SIL was the only one who got that it hurt when they'd joke about it and would try to change the subject. After awhile I just broke down and cried because it got to me and he realized just how far it was going and now puts his family in their place if they bring it up.

if I say something about it, he says I'm overreacting and that its just a joke. & I feel like when I say something, it kind of pushes him away. like he doesn't want to hang out with me if I can't take a joke.
