Rough day and night

My 6weeks old is grunting as he has gas n bloated most of the time. So after the 6 week check up dr. recommended infocol since i have been using gripe water anyway with less effect. So i have infocol yesterday first thing in the morning feed. Since then he was really really unsettled n crancky...over tired of crying n not sleeping. I dont want to give it today. Did anyone experience this? Do u recommend infant 's friend? Is there any side effects of infant friend too like infocol? ??
