Do you have only a joint account, separate or both

Does who have only joint if yall both work, does it ever cause Arguments about one spending more of the money you work for,? I understand want yu become married yu become one. But outside of bills theres luxuries the other tries to buys right.

We have both. Our checks go into our separate accounts and we both deposit money into our joint account every pay check. From there we pay everything home related and have a savings for that account too for any home repairs or emergencies that come up. But our own accounts if I save my left over money and want to splurge on something (a pair of shoes a purse, whatever) I can without asking and he can do the same. Never a fight, ever.

It doesn't cause problems for us. We make about he same salary and neither of us are huge shoppers. But neither of us care when one of us gets something for ourselves. If there's something we don't want the other to know about, like a gift, we have each kept our credit cards in our own names.

Our joint account is the primary account, it is where both checks are direct deposited. However I have a personal account I left open because of a loan tied to that account. We don't hide money. And we have a biweekly allowance for spending money besides bills

Me and SO have separate accounts thought we have all the details to each others accounts. For a very long time we only had an account on hubby's name but when I went back to work he insisted I get my own account. We share everything so it really wouldn't have bothered me to work from his account but hubby wants me to be more independent. His account is linked to my phone though. I usually pay the bills from his account via my cellphone.

We have a joint account and he makes more money than me. We don't have any issues at all because we both know we need to pay bills and we talk about most big purchases but it's not a big deal to us if we spend money as long as we have what we need for the bills.

We have joint account and our own seperate account. We use joint account for bills and emergency cash. Whats mine is his and vice versa we never ask each other to take money we just spend wisely and dont take advantage as we know its for bills and emergencies ie vets , car, house , etc.
