Can he just not be in the delivery room?
You remember the story about the hen (or whatever animal it was) that worked so hard to gather the materials and put in the work to make the bread? No one wanted to be around or help....then the bread was ready and suddenly everyone was there?
I kind of feel that way in my pregnancy. My husband is so distant and only looks involved around other family members, but the truth is, he just doesn't want to be involved. I can tell. He puts me down and gets frustrated if I'm too tired to do something, like the dishes. He never thinks of anything to do to help out around the house. He won't put in any $ for medical bills or things for the baby. I almost feel like I've gone this far alone, why bother having him
There in the delivery room? Then on the other hand, I don't want to take away the experience of his daughters birth.
For the record, yes, I've talked to him. His actions just haven't changed at all.
