Would you be mad?

My boyfriend of 2 years just told me last night after he had a few beers that he has slept with 7 other girls, they were all before me but when we first started dating I had asked him and he said he had only been with one other girl. I don't know how to feel about this.

If he hadn't have said it was only one I wouldn't be mad because it was before you, by the fact that he lied about that would raise a lot of red flags for me.

I dont think it would have mattered if hed been straight up with you, but i would be pretty cut if he had lied to me. He should have been honest from the get go. But at the end of the day, it all depends on how much you like this guy and if you want to forgive his dishonestly? His past shouldnt matter, thats why its the past but he needs to be honest

I wouldn't be mad personally, because maybe he lied of embarrassment. Or just so you would think more highly of him, no one wants to admit being a hoe. It'd be a different story if he had slept with those girls while you two were together. But it was in the past, people lie, make mistakes and are only human. No sense in getting mad over something that happened before you! You're right he shouldn't of lied, but he did! So I would just move on and take more caution into what he says.

Yes I would be mad and I WAS mad.. My boyfriend did the same thing when we started dating.. It wasn't so much that I was mad about his number but the fact that he blatantly lied when we began dating and told me it had only been one.. Like it wouldn't have been any sort of issue at all if he had just told the truth the first time.. We're still together five years later, but I was definitely upset when I found out about it

I wouldn't be upset about the number but I would be upset that he lied to me. I've been with many more men than that so I would not be able to judge, though.
