Should I tell him I'm pregnant?

Question

I just found out I'm pregnant – my boyfriend and I have been dating for seven months.

Background: he is out of college and has a good job and I am still a junior in college. We spin a good portion a time together and we have a great relationship but not financially ready for a kid. He just bought a new house . We are still working on the marriage discussion. Having a kid might mess up a lot in our relationship and even ruin it, I am starting to believe.

I am reaching out to the women asking about stories in advice from around/ about the situation. Love to hear you out about what you would do in my situation. I'm not implying any abortion either but on the hands of the matter.

You dont have to be rich to have a baby my hubby brings home 400 a week and we make it by all means we dont have luxery stuff or go out to eat all the time but my son has everything he needs and always has a good birthday and stuff you dont have to have all the fancy stuff to raise a child and you can get yardsale stuff and i would only think that it would be the right thing to do its to tell him you are prego and discuss options with him seeing he is the father! Tell him! If a baby ruin your relationship then what you two share must've really meant nothing to him anyways. If he really love and respect you then he'll step up to be all that you and the baby needs.

If you want any type of future with this guy,  that's not something you should hold back.  He's going to find out, somehow, I'm sure he'd rather hear it from you, unless you plan on breaking things off yourself.

I wouldn't keep him in the dark, anyway.  A guy deserves to know he's going to be a father,  and that child deserves to know who his/her father is.

It could be very upsetting to your relationship,  and if that's the case I'm sorry,  but if you both want it to work out, you will both MAKE it work.  If not,  do you really want to be with someone who would flake like that?
