How many people came to your baby shower?

Hey everyone! FTM here. My baby shower is next week and so far we are expecting 20 people to show up, but we're planning for 30. To me that sounds like a TON of people! I was just reading a post about gifts not being purchased from registries and it got me thinking... Did EVERYONE who came to your shower buy you a gift? I'm afraid of not getting the things we need and we'll have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy it ourselves. We have all the big things but we still need all the little things, like diapers which we have NONE of right now.

We had about 40 people come after inviting about 50. We did a diaper raffle and got a TON of diapers and wipes from people. A lot of women who are moms already know what's important when you have a baby so you will get a lot of stuff that's necessary. We had a lot of people spend A LOT on us, more than I would have expected from them. My 17 year old sister was the only one who didn't give us a gift. I was very surprised with how generous people were and I'm sure your shower will be the same.

These pictures are after the shower. There were SO many hidden gifts in the bigger gifts too. We got everything expect the stroller/car seat and his high chair plus a few smaller items that were inexpensive.

My shower is July 9th. We're expecting about 150 people. So hopefully I get some good stuff besides clothes! I already have the crib, stroller, and 4 giant boxes of clothes that were all hand me downs. I was also given a breast pump, which is amazing, and a carrier. I'm hoping for lots of diapers and a couple needs from the registry list.

I had a shower last weekend with about 35 people there. I'm having another one next weekend and so far close to 20 have RSVP'd. Tons of stuff has been purchased off our registry! I think it helps that we're team green, people seem less inclined to buy clothes! Which is great in my opinion because we've gotten a lot of things we really NEED!

I'm having 3 showers my first one is on Saturday and I just had a dream that no one came to mine 😂 I was freaking out lol. I don't wanna seem greedy but I can't afford everything by myself and I need the help. But literally no one was there . My fiance, my family, no one

This post makes me anxious. The thought of baby showers makes me even more anxious. First person to touch my stomach gets hit.

My mom loves throwing parties so I just let her handle everything. She's so excited to do this for me so I'm trying not to get cranky lol. I have no idea what to expect attendance-wise. Maybe 10-20? I only gave her 4-5 names and addresses of friends. But I know a lot of family was invited. I know the shower for my dads side will be much more casual. Maybe 10 people. Idk. I'm definitely ready for this part of pregnancy to be over.

Just had my "small" work shower and have just finished filling out the 30 thank yous. This little girl, hubby and I are sooo lucky. Big shower isn't until June 25th.

I have 33 people who rsvped so far but I know therell be more than that bc others didnt rsvp

We invited 200 coed and both have crazy huge family. Do to a family conflict of dates most people will not be able to make it (they may give us another  shower)

I also play on a hockey team and they are doing their own shower

And my work is doing a shower today.

So from that 200ppl we are most likely going to have 4 smaller showers.  I think that's good. It will be more ti.e to spend with everyone and more personal.
