Hookup heartbreak.
I've been hooking up with my best guy friend of 6 years. We have been sexting and we hang out all the time. We stay up late just talking, and he's always been the closest one to me. Today he told me that he thinks we should "stop doing what we've been doing." I told him I understand, and he told me it's because he "doesn't want to fuck up something if either of us find someone we are really interested in". I am extremely hurt and I don't know what to do because I have had feelings for him for years, even when we were both in relationships. How do I handle this?
