I am a very active 21 year old & my bf& I have our own place,  I'm in school & we work . I love him very much so we don't use protection and he finishes in me,  he made it known resently that he said he ready for a baby but we don't have to plan it & I totally agree,  if I get pregnant great if I don't that's fine too..  my thing is we are active smokers and drink socially,  so I'm asking how many ladies here has done something you wouldn't have done if you knew you was prego,  if you did, did it effect your baby after you found out?

Despite what everyone says, quiting isn't easy! And my doctor told me not to just quit, but to at least cut down! If you quit smoking cold turkey, you will get stressed and so will baby! So I'm down to 2 a day!!

I didn't quit while TTC, but I made sure I was testing extremely early... Like a week before I was due for my period to catch it right away.. And then I weaned myself off for like a week or so... I mean most people don't know they are pregnant until they are late so that's pretty safe. Also they've done studies on smoking and found that people who smoked less than 5 cigarettes a day had the same outcomes as nonsmokers. So I'd say cut back now and wean yourself off completely once you find out.

Be very careful about smoking and drinking when ttc. The first 8 weeks of a fetuses development are the most important. 8 weeks is also the most common time women find out they're pregnant. You'd be better off quitting the two all together for now, but if you can't hold off absolutely do not drink/smoke if you have a feeling you're pregnant

Smoking cigarettes or weed? Honestly I still smoke weed it helps a lot I just need to stop by my 25th week and cigarettes I still smoke but not as often.
