Depo SHOT 🤔 or no?

so I was on pills after I had my babygirl 3 months ago, couldn't remember to take them on time & I just recently stopped the pills to get on Depo ... but I've been reading reviews & most of them or negative. I was just wondering if any one knows a good suggestion on what I should do?

I LOVED the depo. No period whatsoever, no weight gain, no kind of reaction. Although this time I got the IUD because  my doctor said the depo isn't made for long term birth control usage and I plan on never having kids again. It lasts for 5 years, so I thought that was better for me than to go every 3 months for the rest of my life lol. But everyone reacts differently to every BC so really its just trial and error

I love it. Used it for a year before getting pregnant and now 6 wks pp started using it again so far no side effects. Also before when used no major side effects just some mild bleeding.

The depo had me a complete mess. I wld bleed for months. They put me on hormone pills to help and it didn't. It took me forever after stopping it to go back to normal!

Noooo I had my son 2 months ago got depo and still bleeding heavy it's bs I wish I had never got it stay away from it if it don't make u fat it makes u bleed forever

I was on it for 10+ years and never had any complaints. It took 12 months to get a period after going off of it, but it was worth it for me. No period, and only 4 shots a year? Yes, please!
