Paternity testing😣

My BD says his family is questioning paternity. He's had a scare once before and turned out not to be his kid. This will be his first and he has a job that causes him to travel 8 months out of the year and I'm positive it's his cause you gotta have sex with someone else for it to possibly be someone else's, right. Lol. Well anyway. He tells me he knows it's his baby but then says he wants to be able to tell his son(should he ever ask) with proof that he knows he's his. I'm nervous....not for the test but because i already feel weird about it and dont want to be mad at him for questioning me when results come back as expected. Plus his reason sounds like a crock of shit excuse instead of just saying he wants to know. I get he's had the scare but idk it really hurts me. Ugh.
