Even if you planned your child were you still scared when it happened ?

I want to have one really bad but I'm just scared that in a matter of time my whole life will change. I know it can be a great thing but still scares the hell out of me. My boyfriend is getting frustrated with me about it but he understand how hard it is for me. Any advice?

You're always goig to have that "oh, shit... What are we going to do?" feeling. My husband and I planned our pregnancy and it happened quicker than I had expected. (I was thinking it would take months to a year, and it happened our first month... After two years of "not trying but not preventing". I just started a job and my insurance hasn't kicked in quite yet...)
The way I look at it, you can plan and prepare all you want, but life doesn't care about that plan and neither will a baby. You're always going to have some reason not to... So, if you think that you're emotionally capable of handling a kid, then I say go for it :)

Ha, we tried for a year. It finally happened and my immediate thought was, "yay! I'm a mommy! Omg. I'm a mother. Omg, what did I do?" I think it's natural to be afraid at first. Especially for first time mothers. I'm still overjoyed and ecstatic.

Those are helpful. I mean I am still in school but he's ready for this and I've been wanting to as well just scared as all hell. And I know it's not helpful. Before him I didn't even want kids either.

You can go over it in your head a million times but once you see those 2 lines you'll still freak out a bit and that's ok everyone does :-) honestly it's not that bad just take one day at a time xxx
