What would you do...

Question

My hubby and I are thinking about me being a stay at home mom.. currenttly I have a great job, but it's only a morning shift job , same as hubby.. I am afraid that bills will get tight.. I have no one to take care of baby if i chose to return to work and daycare is too expensive.. feel free to comment!:)

All depends. If you don't have day care it may b ur only option is to stay at home. Would you b able to afford day care? If so would you basically b working just to pay day care? Or can either of you switch to afternoon shift so one of u is home with baby n u don't need day care? That's what me n hubby did. Works for us. Or if you guys can work a budget around one pay check stay at home. Nothing wrong with it. But if u fear it will b tight I'd check all options as day care can get expensive.

I'm going through the same thing. I have a good job but the plan is for me to stay home once we have a baby. My husband just graduated from law school and has a good job lined up so we're planning to live on his income. Daycare is so expensive and I also want to be able to be home with my kids so I think it's the right choice for us. Everyone is different though, it's whatever works best for your family!
