D&C vs natural

I just found out I'm having my second miscarriage in 6 months. A MMC in December and now a blighted ovum. I'm trying to determine the best course of action. I'm leaning toward a D&C. I used cytotec last time to have my miscarriage naturally and it was awful. I ended up bleeding excessively and had to go to the er. Any advice or experiences about either people can share?
