Updates?

Hey girls, would love to know everyone's updates and progress? So just to start an update on my cycle. Had egg collection yesterday, got 12 eggs, found out today 8 have fertilised. Pretty happy with those numbers. Just playing the waiting game now to see if they survive the 5 days til they can be frozen. We aren't transferring this cycle due to risk of OHSS but I'm ok with it. Just want some good quality embies for the freezer! Goodluck for the rest of your cycles ladies!

We've been working with this doctor since January and just had my first frozen 5 day blast transfer on Thursday!

14 eggs
4 made it to 5 days
2 passed testing

Had 2 transfered back and now we are waiting for the blood test!

We were progressing nicely as of Friday per bloodwork and ultrasound. They added in menopur to the mix which was not fun. Went in for more bloodwork and ultrasound today and found out that I had or am having an LH surge so we can't continue with IVF this cycle. 😩😤 So we're switching to an IUI cycle now and going in for insemination tomorrow. We're just so frustrated at this point (last cycle we started as iui and had to switch to IVF due to overstimulation). I mean we're still glad that we can do something but would just like to stick to a plan for a full cycle for once.

Those numbers sound great! I hope they all make it to freezing 😊 I just started stims on Monday, go back for ultrasound and bloodwork on Friday. I'm just excited to finally be starting 😊

Hi Ashleigh,

Got my last blood work and ultrasound done today. All my follicles are 18mm and my lining is 9.2 and estradiol is 2490. I'm doing my trigger shot tonight at 9:15 pm then ER on Thursday 6/9 at 9:15 am. I can't wait but I'm nervous and excited at the same time. This has been a long journey for me going through all the meds side effects but it's all worth it in the end and I would do it all over again if I have to. Good luck to you, dear! Yay to all of you. I had blood work and ultrasound today. I have 25 follicles between 9 and 16. Estradiol is 2735. I go back in Thursday and will be doing the retrieval Sunday. I'm getting so excited. We are freezing everything and doing the transfer is a few months. Wishing everyone the best!
