Ovarian Cysts

Michelle
I had my transvaginal ultrasound today because I was having very painful periods and and normal bleeding. The tech said she saw a cyst on my left ovary, and MY GOD did it hurt when she moved the probe over to that side. During "O" time, that ovary THROBS badly. She also asked me if I had a history of endo but she didn't say whether she saw some or not. Anyone know what they tell woman who are TTC but have a cyst that is causing them problems such as very painful menstruation, throbbing pain during O time and abnormal bleeding? I will get the official results in a few days. I know sometimes they remove it if it is causing problems, but I also know that sometimes they will just put you on birth control. I have NEVER been on birth control in my entire 27 years. It just freaks me out. So I really don't want to go on it now. I'd rather them just remove the cyst.
