Pap smear anxiety

I am terrified of getting a Pap smear. My appointment is today and I am freaking out. I have a weird thing where I pass out if things are inserted inside me or if anything medical is happening down there. No problems with sex...just foreign objects (i.e. Tampons, etc). So worried I'm going to embarrass myself by passing out during the exam.
