Sperm donor and babies

So I have life threatening condition which makes getting into relationships very hard. I am now 23 and the last time I had a serious relationship was when I was 17. Through out the years I have just dating guys and stuff and really serious. Lately though I have been seriously thinking about having a babe via sperm donor. I know am young but this is the perfect age to have a baby. It's only recently that society has decided that you need older etc. Just wondering if angle else has felt this way?
